Today, thinkRF announced the appointment of Jim Nerschook to the newly created position of Chief Commercial Officer, effective January 1, 2021.
In this role Mr. Nerschook will report to Jim Roche, President & CEO and will lead the commercial strategy and execution for thinkRF products and solutions. “I am delighted that such an accomplished wireless industry veteran has joined our growing team. Jim’s appointment as the Chief Commercial Officer comes at a key inflection point for thinkRF. His excellent track record and proven skillset in leading organizational change while achieving double-digit growth will be crucial to further evolve our commercial strategy.” said Mr. Roche.
Mr. Nerschook has served on the thinkRF Board of Directors for over four years. “I have always been excited about working with companies with a potential to grow exponentially. Over the last few years I’ve had a ringside seat as thinkRF has positioned itself for just that growth. Moreover, as 5G connectivity is rolled out, monitoring the RF spectrum becomes increasingly more important. At thinkRF we have a great opportunity with our high-fidelity, high-bandwidth SDR technology.“ said Mr. Nerschook.
Prior to joining thinkRF, Mr. Nerschook held senior-level executive positions at PAR Technology, VIAVI Solutions, JDSU, GN NetTest, IFRS Systems, and Photon Kinetics, where he acquired in-depth experience in developing strategic plans, building out hardware and SaaS solutions, leading organizational change and achieving double-digit growth. He is a specialist in organizational transformation, global business development, marketing and sales, product line management and development of high-performance teams.
