Dr. Tarek Helaly

President & CEO

Tarek is an accomplished executive with over 25 years of experience spanning wireless technologies, spectrum intelligence, and global business leadership. He has held leadership roles across both public and private sectors, where he led multidisciplinary teams and complex technology programs in highly regulated industries. Prior to being appointed CEO, Tarek served as President of thinkRF, where he led a company-wide transformation focused on strategic growth, operational efficiency, and international expansion. His leadership resulted in significant revenue growth, market diversification, and a stronger product and go-to-market foundation. Tarek holds a PhD in Engineering and an Executive MBA from the University of Ottawa.

Brian Murphy

Chief Financial Officer

Brian has thirty plus years of experience working with various sized businesses (including complex manufacturing, high tech, professional services and construction industries) with responsibility extending through all aspects of internal and external management/financial reporting and decision making. Brian attained a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation (now CPA) from the Society of Management Accountants of Ontario in 1988. Brian also has his Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Ottawa.

Dan Zanetti

VP Operations

Dan joined thinkRF in July 2017 following senior roles in supply chain operations, engineering and sales management in high tech OEM. He has significant skills in supply chain management, NPI program management, customer engagement and end to end business process improvement. Dan who has a BSc Eng and MBA began his career with Nortel with progressive roles in finance, engineering, human resources and operations. He also worked in senior operations roles in optical startup Bookham and prior to joining thinkRF he was VP Customer Satisfaction at Oclaro a leading optical component manufacturer.

Enhancing public safety with RF situational awareness

To improve a government agency’s situational awareness for safety and security, thinkRF designed, built, and delivered a real-time spectrum analyzer with embedded Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) capabilities. This allowed the government agency to deploy multiple units and use geolocation to determine the location of the device transmitting a signal of interest.
