Earlier this month, Dr. Jasvinder Obhi, VP Product Management & Marketing at ThinkRF, received an award from TiE Ottawa at the annual TiECon Canada event for his dedication and commitment to supporting entrepreneurship in the region. The award is given to those that exemplify the mandate of TiE for fostering entrepreneurship, giving back to the ecosystem, and helping grow new leaders through mentoring, guidance, and education.
“I’m incredibly honored to receive this award for doing what I enjoy; helping entrepreneurs,” said Jasvinder. “It is inspiring to see the innovation, problem solving, and passion that exists in this region, and I’ve been fortunate to be involved with such a remarkable group of people.”
Jasvinder has been a member of TiE Ottawa for over 12 years, including 6 as an executive, and has been President of the chapter since 2017. TiE was founded in 1992 in Silicon Valley and is the world’s largest entrepreneurial network with over 13,000 members and 2500 charter members with chapters in 18 countries. TiE Ottawa is one of the three chapters in Canada.
